Description
In the traditional lore of old India Krishna is a little cowherd boy with many friends who wanders the forest of Vrindavan tending his cows from sunrise to sunset. This is a huge painting, painted in India for a Hindu ashram. If you observe this artwork, you will see that Krishna in the center, is being playfully fanned by another boy with his cloth, and another boy (Balarama) is feeding him while yet another boy (Madhu Mangal) is stealing a sweet from his plate. The plates are simple banana leaves, and the boys are picnicking near a river or pond full of lotuses.
