A young girl just received a love letter. She is smiling cunningly, and with all the expression of pleasure, a love letter can give. The style is impressionism. This was painted from the live model. A young girl of no more than 16 years old posed for me.
THIRD PLACE TIED WIN in the DBCS#7 CONTEMPORARY MASTERS CONTEST. This was a tough contest given the EXCELLENT LEVEL of the 206 pieces of FINE Art submitted by 79 artists. Roughly half of the entire submittals were voted into the leaderboard for honorable mention. YOU were honored by achieving the highest voting percentage among the 463 votes cast! BRAVO! This was a well-deserved distinction.

About Dominique Amendola
"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of spiritual paintings into people's lives through my artwork." Dominique Amendola was born in Paris, France. She spent most of her life living in the United States, and India. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1985. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was four years old. When she was 17 years old, she studied for 2 years at Atelier Beaudry, in Paris France. Then she studied for 4 years at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs De Paris, France.
