In this colorful painting, Keshi Ghat is depicted as full of spirituality. Some religious people pressed into boats, and some Asian priests are setting off on the peaceful waters of the scenic, holy Ganges.
The sun rises, producing a warm golden light, with the sky reflecting in the waters. Some Buddhist monks dressed in red-orange robes are preparing to depart in several boats. The Keshi Ghat building is forming the background.

"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of spiritual paintings into people's lives through my artwork." Dominique Amendola was born in Paris, France. She spent most of her life living in the United States, and India. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1985. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was four years old. When she was 17 years old, she studied for 2 years at Atelier Beaudry, in Paris France. Then she studied for 4 years at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs De Paris, France. Thanks, Randy, but those are not monkeys, they are monks. Some people like Buddhists, others don't... However, this piece sold for $2000.00 to someone who did like Buddhist monks!
