On a clear day, you can see the outlines of San Francisco from Sausalito.
The sky is blue, reflecting in the waters. Many boats are sailing in the sea. The passengers are having a relaxing time. Sailing is good recreation.
Sausalito celebrates its extensive boating and artist communities. Located North of San Francisco with the Golden Gate Bridge as its gateway, Sausalito has expansive views of the San Francisco skyline and Richardson Bay. This waterfront town offers excitement for tourists. Romantics have enjoyed Sausalito for generations, from proposals to weddings to anniversaries. This historic waterfront town has won the hearts of many.
This painting won the in-house contest in the "Painting the Old Way" group with second place.

About Dominique Amendola
"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of spiritual paintings into people's lives through my artwork." Dominique Amendola was born in Paris, France. She spent most of her life living in the United States, and India. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1985. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was four years old. When she was 17 years old, she studied for 2 years at Atelier Beaudry, in Paris France. Then she studied for 4 years at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs De Paris, France.
