This is a still life with a copper kettle and brass singing bowl. On the lower right is a copper lota. The style is realistic and painted in one coat, (Alla prima). The painting was framed in an ornate wood frame.
This artwork won the 1st Place Prize for "STILL LIFE PAINTED BY WOMEN PAINTERS" and was Featured on the group homepage of WOMEN PAINTERS on June 13, 2020.
And it won 1st place in BEST TRADITIONAL STILL LIFE on July 27th, 2022

About Dominique Amendola
"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of spiritual paintings into people's lives through my artwork." Dominique Amendola was born in Paris, France. She spent most of her life living in the United States, and India. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1985. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was four years old. When she was 17 years old, she studied for 2 years at Atelier Beaudry, in Paris France. Then she studied for 4 years at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs De Paris, France. She took courses that taught her traditional fine art skills, including an in-depth study of the masters:...
