This is a Pleinair painting. This original painting can be purchased, contact dn.amendola@gmail.com.
This piece was painted in the backyard of one of my friends in Sebastopol, California, where pumpkins and squashes abound. The garden can have some surprises sometimes and this was a bountiful collection of yellow sunflowers growing wild outdoors.

About Dominique Amendola
"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of spiritual paintings into people's lives through my artwork." Dominique Amendola was born in Paris, France. She spent most of her life living in the United States, and India. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1985. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was four years old. When she was 17 years old, she studied for 2 years at Atelier Beaudry, in Paris France. Then she studied for 4 years at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs De Paris, France.
