The golden waters penetrated my thin cloth,
And washed me clean of the bluish stains of life,
Carrying away both sin and fear.
And from that time on I bathed in the holy Ganges
Love-infused and churned into milk,
Devouring the low sunrises; were entranced in pallid corpuscles,
A dreaming drowned man sometimes goes down.

"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of spiritual paintings into people's lives through my artwork." Dominique Amendola was born in Paris, France. She spent most of her life living in the United States, and India. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1985. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was four years old. When she was 17 years old, she studied for 2 years at Atelier Beaudry, in Paris France. Then she studied for 4 years at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs De Paris, France.
