Three figures are bathing in the river. The horizon is unlimited, the sun is rising, and the waters of the Ganges are peaceful. This ritual has been performed for millenniums in India, as the Ganges waters which have antiseptic properties are said to be also purifying for the soul. In a colorful landscape of warm tones from the sun, the river is reflecting the sky. This painting has been created in a contemporary impressionist style on a fine museum-quality canvas.

About Dominique Amendola
"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of spiritual paintings into people's lives through my artwork." Dominique Amendola was born in Paris, France. She spent most of her life living in the United States, and India. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1985. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was four years old. When she was 17 years old, she studied for 2 years at Atelier Beaudry, in Paris France. Then she studied for 4 years at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs De Paris, France.
